of the snaffle bridle

FITTING A
NECK STRAP
If a neck strap
is required a stirrup leather can be used.
It should be
buckled on the left hand site and allow a clenched fist between
the neck and the strap.
|
If
the tack does not fit the horse inform your supervisor so
that a different saddle and bridle can be used.
Always use the correct size headcollar which can be adjusted
comfortably when securing the horse.

the noseband and remove the loop of the standing martingale if
the horse wears one.

the throat lash.
- Put
the lead rope over the horse's neck,
- Gently
slide the bridle over the horse's head giving him time to open
his mouth and drop the bit taking care that it does not catch
on his teeth.

on the headcollar as quickly as possible and tie the horse up.
